The Thirteen Most Important Foundations of the Jewish Religion, by Maimonides (1135-1204), formulated in his Commentary on the Mishnah, Tractate Sanhedrin 10:1.
1. I believe fully, that G-d is the only creator and leader of all that was created and came into being, is coming into being and will come into being.
2. I believe fully, that G-d is an absolute unity, incomparable to any other unity; that He alone is the G-d who was, is, and will always be.
3. I believe fully, that He is incorporeal, He has no bodily functions and that no conception of Him is possible.
4. I believe fully, that He is the first and the last.
5. I believe fully, that one may direct one’s prayer to Him alone and that one may not do so to another.
6. I believe fully, that everything the prophets have proclaimed is true.
7. I believe fully, that Moses was the true prophet, who has never had or will have his equal.
8. I believe fully, that the entire Torah, as we now possess it, was given to Moses by G-d.
9. I believe fully, that this Torah is unchangeable, that there is no other that comes from G-d.
10. I believe fully, that G-d knows the actions and thoughts of man.
11. I believe fully, that He rewards those who keep His commandments and punishes those who break His commandments.
12.I believe fully, that the Messiah will surely come and even if he may take a long time, I expect his coming every day.
13.I believe fully, that there will be a resurrection of the dead at a time when the Creator, whose name is blessed and whose fame is so high and exalted forever, wills it.
